Condition Report

In overall stable condition. Craquelure throughout, with some cupped edges most apparent in sky. Dust and grime along lower edge. Slight loss of tension to canvas. Canvas is relined, with additional black lining to edges, some of which is visible on recto. Three areas of patching/repair apparent to verso, which fluoresce under UV light examination (two at center left and one at center near bridge). Multiple, small areas of inpainting visible throughout. Spuriously signed R. Smith to lower left.
