A Jade and Hardstone Embellished Silver Mounted Gourd Covered Box

LATE QING DYNASTY

清晚期葫蘆鑲銀嵌寶福祿壽蓋盒
the gourd encased within a silver openwork network of leafy vines bearing blossoms and further gourds, jade inlaid with coral, turquoise and other stones, each lobe centered with a jade fu character, raised on three feet each mounted with a jade carving of double gourds.

Condition Report

Stone inlays all apparently present, some showing minor fissures.. Heavier soiling to deeper recesses. The metal oxidized black, some surface scratches to the interior. Standing stabling on the three feet.
