Condition:

THE FIRST
The overall condition is fair with the following:
Structural Issues: The velvet trim is brittle in many places throughout the bodice, particularly the "lace up" detail on each sleeve.
Split/Separated Seams:
Losses: There is a length of missing velvet trim on the left peplum.
Fading/Color Change: Many areas of the velvet trim have fading.
Soiling/Spots: There is general soiling throughout the bodice but more extensively under each arm, the front waist and around the neckline. There is a dark spot on the front right peplum.
Repairs/Alterations: The side seams appear to have been let out at some point in the past.

THE SECOND
The overall condition is fair with the following:
Structural Issues: There are some small worn areas along the bottom hemline.
Split/Separated Seams: The under arm seams are starting to split on each side.
Losses: The glazed cotton lining has started to degrade and has sustained losses around the neckline, shoulders, and several small losses at the center back peplum. The interior bust padding has all but been lost.
Soiling/Spots: There is overall soiling throughout the lining with extensive soiling under each of the arms, internally and externally.
