Late 19th Century

Height 50 1/2 x width 38 inches.

Condition Report

In good, stable condition overall. Evident re-gilding and repair to tight age splits on the crest. Evident re-gilding and repairs to the hanging bellflower ornamentation on both sides. Later white-ish plaster application to recesses of ribbon-tied trophies on both sides. Mirror plate in good condition; likely later. Scattered, minor instances of surface loss exposing the underlying gesso. Scattered, tight age splits with evident re-gilding and surface repair. Inscribed Allouin 830 in pencil to the reverse.
