An Unusual Chinese Five Color Overlay Transparent Green Gourd-Form Vase and Cover
18TH-19TH CENTURY
清中期 蘋果綠地套五色料福祿萬代葫蘆瓶
the body and conforming cover worked of an opaque white tone to a double gourd form, the lower globular lobe tapering to a narrow waist, all covered in a layer of transparent green, further carved to an overlay of five colors with flowerheads, bats, and small gourds borne from leafy vines.
