4to. Profusely illustrated. Publisher's original illustrated boards (small loss to lower spine, light wear to edges). Provenance: William H. Tipton, Gettysburg (blind stamp on title page).
Semi-centennial edition featuring battlefield photographs with text by Francis T. Miller. A blind stamp of Gettysburg photographer W.H. Tipton on the inside title page indicates that either he sold these books or this copy at one time was in his personal library.
