Condition Report

Condition:

The overall condition is good though there is a small tear in the silk on the right sleeve near the elbow and several separated stitches throughout the appliqué lace, most noticeable at the elbows, under arms, and along the neckline. Minor appliqué repairs have been made on the fronts of each shoulder. There is some light fading of the silk backing of the coat under the appliqués. The buttons have lost some of the velvet pile from wear and the hemline silk fabric is starting to split along the bottom fold. The fur collar has a very small worn spot on the front at closure wearing the follicles down to the skin.
