Two Givenchy Haute Couture Maternity Dresses, c.1984

This lot includes two dresses that were made by Givenchy for Mrs. Gutfreund when she was pregnant with her son.

THE FIRST
Haute Couture red, blue, and white geometric print silk maternity dress with rolled collar, short sleeves with shoulder pads, cinched tie front waist over flared skirt, and center back zipper closure.

THE FIRST
The overall condition is very good though there is a very faint line of soiling along the neckline facing.

THE SECOND
The overall condition is very good structurally though there is some yellowing and soiling along the interior neckline and on each of the sleeve cuffs, especially the left cuff near the button detail. There is some moderate white soiling under each arm and is noticeable in the interior lining.
