Two Givenchy Haute Couture Maternity Dresses, c.1984

This lot includes two dresses that were made by Givenchy for Mrs. Gutfreund when she was pregnant with her son.

THE FIRST
Haute Couture light blue woven paisley patterned caftan with yoked neckline, cap sleeves, gathered into the yoke A-line body and center back zipper closure.

THE FISRT
The overall condition is very good though there is some slight soiling along the interior neckline, some minor pilling along the shoulders, a black mark on the front left shoulder, and an orange spot on the center back hem.

THE SECOND
The overall condition is very good though there is some negligible soiling along the interior neckline facing and lining and there are some faint orange spots on the left side seam hemline.
