Two Sumerian Clay Cuneiform Tablets
Third Dynasty of Ur, Circa 22nd-21st Century B.C.
Height 1 1/2 inches (3 cm).

Provenance:
Acquired from Skinner Auctions, Bolton, Massachusetts, in the late 1990s or early 2000s. (Accompanied by a signed statement from the owner)
Note:
Including one administrative tablet dated to the reign of King Amar-Suen of Ur, recording the amounts of grain (barley) delivered to the royal storehouse; and one administrative tablet, dated to the year 46 of King Shulgi of Ur's reign, recording a receipt for 30 sheep. Full translation available upon request.
