A Louis XV Style Carved and Painted Chaise Longue

Circa 1860

Height 38 1/5 x length 55 inches.

Condition Report

Sturdy, attractive and usable condition. The middle two legs probably repaired, with some glue residue visible from underneath. The gray painted finish is not original, but has some age and is scuffed / rubbed off in scattered areas in a way that is even and lends patina to the chair. The upholstery is clean and intact except for one area toward the end of the footrest where the pile of the velvet is matted, possible from moisture.
