Lot Description
An Assembled Louis XV Style Giltwood Parlor Suite
Early 20th Century
comprising a settee, a bergère, a side chair and a chaise.
Height of settee 38 3/4 x width 58 1/4 x depth 28 inches.
Property from the Carmen S. Holeman Trust, Indianapolis, Indiana
Condition Report
Seat height of settee: 18 1/2 inches. Height of bergère 35 7/8 x width 36 inches. Height of side chair 35 inches. Height of chaise 33 1/4 x length 39 x width 21 inches. 

Each in stable and attractive condition. The gilding with scattered instances of retouch throughout, few patches of discoloration therealong, and with craquelure to the gilt decoration throughout, consistent and attractive. The chaise set on casters, which function mostly smoothly. The upholstery with several runs to the seat, some small instances of staining. The bergere also with snagging throughout the upholstery on the seat and back rest. The settee with few small instances of loss to decoration at the central portion on the top of the seat back.
