Condition Report
In overall fairly stable condition. Having scattered loss to gesso throughout gilded edge framing the top and along the vertical ribbed sections along each front-facing edge. Pieces of loss throughout penwork exposing basewood, instances of bubbling and a section to the top of one drawer that has lifted. The gilt metal band wrapping along the base of the cabinet is partially detached and lifting at one corner and slightly lifting at the other. With two interior shelves and key. The key turns in the keyhole but the locking mechanism does not function properly (does not lock). Additional images available upon request.
