A Chinese Export Blue and White Wallpaper Four-Panel Screen
Late 18th Century

Condition Report
The panels presently detached from one another for moving. The faux painted finish on the frames has some heavy losses and is flaking and delicate. The papers in overall stable and attractive condition. One panel with an area of wavy, rippling paper at its top and three of the four panels with areas of patched, later-added paper and overpainting to repair losses. Cracking, yellowing, foxing and other wear to the paper is consistent with 18th century age. The frames are modern and not original to the papers.
