Verso bears Tipton's imprint and ink inscription identifying subject as J.M. Young. The young subject's headgear bears a wreath device encircling "112 SV" and he wears a badge on his jacket, likely Spanish American War. -- 2 1/4 x 3 3/8 in. CDV on cardstock mount (toning, wear to image edges and corners, surface soiling to mount). Camp Hamilton, VA: Monitor Gallery, n.d. Verso bears photographer's imprint and 3-cent revenue stamp.
