Housed in a half pressed paper case with patriotic motif (significant surface wear). -- Sixth plate ruby ambrotype portrait of an older likely cavalryman wearing a mounted services jacket and holding an indiscernable object, perhaps a piece of paper, in his hand. (Significant tarnishing, discoloration, scratching, and image deterioration throughout.) Housed in a half pressed paper case (significant surface wear). -- Ninth plate tintype half portrait of a young private wearing a frock coat and smoking a cigar, the tip of the cigar and his buttons highlighted in gold. (Some spotting to image and mat, no preserver present; unsealed.) Housed in a geometric Union case (large crack to front cover with possible repair, missing velvet pad, non-functioning closure clasp). -- Ninth plate tintype bust portrait of a young mustached soldier, possibly Confederate as his collar appears to be darker than the rest of his coat.
