[WWII]. Large collection of signatures from Captain Robert Morgan and crew of the Memphis Belle.

Six binders containing signatures, modern photographs, background material, correspondence, articles, ephemera and more, related to the Memphis Belle, the most famous B-17 Flying Fortress to complete 25 combat missions during WWII. Majority of material and signatures are associated with Colonel Robert Knight Morgan (1918-2004), aircraft commander of the Memphis Belle and later a pilot in the Pacific Theater where he flew another 26 combat missions. Lot features dozens of images, including signatures of Memphis Belle crew members Captain Robert K. Morgan, Pilot; Captain James A. Verinis, Co-pilot; Captain Charles B. Leighton, Navigator; Leviticus "Levy" Dillon, First Engineer/Top Turret Gunner; Eugene Adkins, Second Engineer/Top Turret Gunner; Harold P. Loch, Third Engineer/Top Turret Gunner; Robert "Bob" Hanson, Radio Operator; E. Scott Miller, Right Waist Gunner; Casmer A "Tony" Nastal, Right Waist Gunner; Clarence E. Winchell, Left Waist Gunner; and John P. Quinlan, Tail Gunner.
