2 1/4 x 3 3/8 in. CDV on cardstock mount (toning to print, occasional spotting; light edge and corner wear to mount). A desirable view of "Lieut. General U.S. Grant," as identified on mount below image, casually seated in a studio setting. With Alexander Gardner's Washington, DC, imprint on mount recto and verso.
