Lot Description
19th Century Halfstock Percussion Plains Rifle
.38 caliber. 32" octagonal barrel length. SN: NSN. Blued metal finish. Figured walnut halfstock has a carved cheek rest, plain straight grip and forearm. Percussion rifle with notch rear sight and blade front sight. Item features double set triggers, high spur hammer, and crescent buttplate. Missing ramrod. Item appears to be unsigned.

Condition Report
Fair. Bore is dark and has heavy pitting. Finish has losses to sharp edges, scratches and dings overall, and a mottled black-brown appearance. Wood stock shows scratches and mars, as well as losses around touchhole.
