Colt Lightning Slide Action Small Frame Rifle in .22

Manufactured 1894

.22 caliber. 24" octagonal barrel length. SN: 19626. Blued metal finish with case hardened frame. Two piece walnut stock has a plain straight grip and forearm. Slide action rifle with notch rear sight, blade front sight, and half tube magazine. Barrel is marked with two-line Hartford address and Colt patent marks, as well as caliber marking. Frame has a rampant Colt marked to left side.

Condition Report

Good. Bore is frosty and has residue to rifling. Finish has losses to sharp edges and scattered oxidation overall. Frame finish is a mottled grey-brown. Wood stock has scattered scratches and mars. Action is functional.
