Claudin Brevete Retailer Marked Colt Thuer Model Derringer

.41 RF. 2.5" barrel length. SN: 103. Possible blued finish to barrel, and brass finish to frame. Smooth walnut bird's head grips. Single action derringer pistol with brass blade front sight. Barrel is marked Fd Claudin Brevete a Paris/COLT/Boulevart des Italiens 38 all to top of barrel in gothic style letting except for "COLT" marks. Item is also marked with a 6/{umlaut} to bottom of barrel and under left grip.

Condition Report

Good. Bore is heavily frosted with residue. Finish has mostly worn away, with scattered light scratches and pit marks overall. Grips show light scratches and mars. Action will need work, firing spring appears to slip when hammer is cocked and will not cock all the way.
