The lot is comprised of the following: 

14 cabinet cards, most showing men in military uniforms. Highlighted portraits include: 3 young men wearing caps with eagle insignia. Greencastle, IN: W.F. Kerr. -- Image after lithograph/engraving of a man wearing a featured hat and uniform. Jackson, CA: W. Kay. -- Soldier standing with his rifle with bayonet in hand. Vancouver, WA: Hofsteater. -- Standing portrait of a gentleman in traditional Scottish attire, his jacket adorned with various medals. Chesterville [Ontario]: C. Morrison. -- Shoulder-length portrait of a young infantryman wearing a cap with "1" and "B" and crossed rifles insignia. Fulton, MO: Martland Studio. Identified as Pete Lamar on verso. -- Portrait of a woman standing between two young men, one dressed in uniform. Portraits of a man and woman are displayed in fancy frames on the table in front of the trio. Subjects identified as members of the Coester family on verso. -- Capt. William Duncombe of the English Steamship Norman Monarch, as identified on verso. New Haven, CT: Smith. -- Lithographed view of Robley D. Evans, Rear Admiral USN. Together, 15 photographs of uniformed subjects, many armed. Conditions range from fair to very good, with varying degrees of toning, some staining and spotting, edge and corner wear to mounts.
