**Swedish Mauser Model 1938 Short Rifle

World War II

6.5x55mm Swiss. 24" barrel length. SN: 9334. Blued metal finish with polished bolt. Walnut stock has a plain straight grip and forearm, with hand grooves, handguard, and single barrel band. Bolt action rifle with folding adjustable disc notch rear sight and a blade front sight. Item features an internal box magazine, double sling swivels, bayonet lug forend, straight bolt handle, and a threaded barrel muzzle. Markings include Carl Gustafs manufacturer marks and an 1899 date to receiver ring. Converted from a Swedish Mauser Model 1896.

Condition Report

Good. Bore is bright. Finish has some scratchy losses and sprinkled pit marks scattered overall. Wood stock shows scratching and mars overall.
