Condition Report
Framed: 64 1/2 x 34 1/2 inches.
Minor deposits of surface dirt and dust; canvas is wax-lined; passages of the canvas have been pressed due to lining process; one pinpoint paint loss along extreme upper left edge; an area of repair with associated inpainting, approximately 2 x 2 inches, along the upper left edge; one thin, horizontal line of inpainting in center left, approximately 1 inch in length; one pinpoint brown stain in woman's proper left forearm; one pinpoint white paint droplet in lower center; one thin, horizontal scuff mark extending from the proper left side of the woman's face, approximately 1 1/2 inches in length. Under UV light: areas of inpainting scattered throughout, particularly through the upper edge and the woman's dress, as well as within her hair. Additional images available upon request.
