CLINTON, Hillary Rodham. Living History. 2003. FIRST EDITION, FIRST ISSUE. WITH AN AUTOGRAPH NOTE FROM SCRIBNER’S THEN EDITOR-IN-CHIEF, NAN GRAHAM.

Laid in: “Dear Madeleine – wanted you to have an early copy of Hillary’s superb book. All best, Nan G.”

Both Secretary Albright and Secretary Clinton supported each other’s political careers. Secretary Clinton references Secretary Albright many times throughout Living History, including reminiscences about their shared alma mater Wellesley College. Secretary Alright endorsed Secretary Clinton for her 2008 and 2016 Presidential campaigns and served as an informal advisor on foreign policy. Secretary Clinton declared that Secretary Albright “didn’t just help women. She spent her entire life counseling, cajoling, inspiring and lifting up so many of us who are here today” (USA Today, 27 April 2022).
