A Chinese Russet and Pale Celadon Fish-Form Snuff Bottle and A Chinese Carved Malachite Snuff Bottle

the first carved as a carp with incised scales, the second well polished, carved with a cicada to one side.

Condition Report
The malachite example in good condition, with natural stable fissures at the side. Spoon and stopper intact, museum wax residue at the foot. The fish-form example with some surfaces scratches. Spoon detached and lodged within bottle. Each with handwritten accession numbers.
