[REVOLUTIONARY WAR] -- [WAR OF 1812]. A group of colonial and early American documents and ephemera, comprising: 

A Gunner's Certificate, 12 Oct. 1759. 6-1/4 x 7-1/2". (framed and glazed). Manuscript notice that George troy served five years as gunner's mate on the ships Cumberland and Dartmouth. Signed J. Brown.

Partially printed DS, John Webb & Co.  and Webb, Holmes & Co. Leghorn, 30 Apr. 1799. 10 x 15-1/2 in. Addressed to Moses Brown, Newberryport, MA. Notice that France has taken possession of Tuscany (bloodless takeover) including the city of Leghorn. Includes a list of products handled by Webb. 

6 x 7-3/4" "Fac-Simile of the Standard of he 25th Regiment of U.S. Infantry After the Battles of Chippawa & Bridgewater Upper Canada. the 5th & 25th July 1814." With drawing of the standard, including a broken pole.
