Lot Description
[ROOSELVELT, Theodore (1858-1919)]. FRAZER, James Earl, artist. Cast iron bas relief of Theodore Roosevelt. 1920. 


10 x 12 3/4 in. cast iron bas relief sculpture (very good condition). Signed upper right "Frazer / 1920" with text below portrait reading "Aggressive Fighting For / The Right Is The Noblest / Sport The World Affords," reverse with foundry mark "DecArts."

James Earl Frazer originally made this portrait for a medal, but later produced this plaque and used the same medal in a Winchester rifle butt.
