A Pair of George II Style Walnut Tray-Top Tea Tables

Condition Report

Sturdy and usable condition. The tables might be re-constructed with some 18th century parts in the late 19th century or 20th century. The legs and tops show significant age and have dark accumulations, but the frieze rails do not show hand tool marks and have modern screws. Both tops with several plugged veneer holes; one top with two small darkened lines which may be overpainted cracks. One table's legs have separations visible at the joints and a small amount of glue residue, so they may be repaired where they were separated from the joint.
