[PRINTING]. Joseph Harris Watch Maker & Goldsmith. Trade card. [With:] Menagerie broadside. 

Joseph Harris Watch maker & Goldsmith. London: N.p., [ca 1750-1760]. 5 3/4 x 7 1/2 in. engraved trade card (residue to upper corners, very light soil). A trade card that advertises that Harris "Makes, Mends & Sells all Sorts of Gold & Silver Watches at the Lowest prices. Also Gives the most Money for Second hand Plate, Jewels, and watches, &c." RARE: 1 copy located, held at the British Museum.

[With:] To all Gentleman, Ladies and Others, There is come to the White-Horse in Fleet-Street, and to be seen, Perry's Grand Collection of LIving Wild Creatures, and the greatest Rarities ever shewn, or probably ever will be again in Europe. [London?]: N.p., [ca 1753?]. 7 1/2 x 9 5/8 in. broadside (loss with tear to right edge, short marginal tears). Advertisement for a traveling menagerie that touts its inclusion of "a great He-Lyon", "He-Tyger", "He-Leopard", two "Hyænas", "a Mountain Cat", "The Jackall, the Lyon's Provider", the "Noble Panther", "a Mamoset", and "a Civet Cat". A similar broadside was published in "Derby Signs, Described & Illustrated" in The Reliquary and Illustrated Archaeologist, p. 225. 

[Also with:] Engraved frontispiece of A Description of East India Coasts of Malabar and Cormandel with their Adjacent Kingdoms & Provinces, & of the Empire of Ceylon and of the Idolatry of the Pagans in the East Indies.  [London]: [Awnsham & John Churchill], [1703]. 7 1/2 x 10 7/8 in. engraved frontispiece (dampstain to upper edge).
