[CIVIL WAR]. Relic Colt 1849 Pocket Model Dug at Resaca, Georgia.
Relic condition Colt 1849 Pocket Model revolver dug at Resaca, Georgia. Backstrap and mainspring are present but fully separated from pistol. 6" octagonal barrel length. Serial number 253398 is visible, but heavily obscured on triggerguard and backstrap. Serial number dates the manufacture of this item to early 1864. Wedge and arbor pin were unable to be checked for matching serial numbers. The Battle of Resaca took place 13-15 May 1864. Item is non-functional in relic condition with heavy oxidation and losses overall.
