[LATE INDIAN WARS]. Little Bighorn Battlefield and Fort Lincoln relics, incl. shells and nails, found by Bob Johnson in 1980.
"Custer Shells" with 4 "45..70 Trapdoor" (largest 3 in.) and 1 45 Colt shell (1 3/4 in.). -- "Indian Shells" with 1 "50.70" (1 3/4 in.); 1 "52.Spencer" (1 in.); and 5 "44 .Henry" (approx. 1 in.). -- "Fort Lincoln" with 2 "shells from Parade Grounds" (1 7/8 in.); 3 "Nails from Custer's Home" (longest 3 in.); approx. 1 5/8 x 1 5/8 in. piece of iridescent glass. -- Together, 18 relics, mounted in shadowbox frame with provenance letter signed by Bob Johnson, condition typical for excavated items with expected oxidation, soil, and dents.
