Lot Description

[CIVIL WAR]. BURCAW, S.W., photographer. CDV of young cadet with musket. Allentown, PA.

2 1/4 x 3 13/16 in. CDV on cardstock mount (one notable crease with some paper tearing to image to lower left, staining to image and mount, clipping to edges). Verso bears Burcaw's imprint and a 2-cent revenue stamp. The young subject stands in uniform, holding his bayonetted musket upright with both hands.
