Lot Description
[CIVIL WAR]. BRADY, Mathew. CDV of man possibly wearing a frock coat at military barracks. Washington, D.C., 1862.
2 3/16 x 3 3/8 in. CDV on cardstock mount (very light spotting to image, mount with soiling and residue). Copyright statement printed on mount recto. A male subject leans against a tree in front of a line of military barracks. He appears to wear civilian clothing for the most part, though his coat could be a frock coat, and he holds something down to one side. A building with a sign reading "Post Office" is visible to the right side of the image.
