Lot Description
[CIVIL WAR]. A group of 2 Robert E. Lee items, incl. a framed print and statue.
Later 19-century print of General Robert E. Lee in uniform with his preferred rank of colonel indicated by 3 stars without the laurel wreath, 312 1/2 x 15 1/2 in. (visible), framed to 18 1/4 x 21 1/4 in. (wear to unexamined outside frame). Color image likely after "Portrait of Gen. Robert E. Lee, officer of the Confederate Army" by Julian Vannerson (1827-?), March 1864.
[With:] Hand-painted figurine of General Robert E. Lee in uniform, standing approx. 8 1/4 in high, marked on underside of base "Lefton China." Light wear but condition generally good.
