Lithographed map with hand-coloring, sheet 28 x 30 1/8 in. Inset of "Russian Defences Before Sevastopol" and "A Picturesque Map of the Seat of War in the Danubian Provinces, Turkey, Asia minor, Southern Russia, and the Crimea." (Toning, especially along original folds, some repairs to verso.) Housed in original brown cloth folio with illustrated printed pastedown on orange paper. Featuring a large hand-colored vignette titled "Storming of the Mamelon & White Towers." by Pt. Kramer. RARE: no copies located in OCLC and only 3 auction records from 1908 and 1911.
