This vase shows the abstract image of the War Serpent. Atop this vessel is a band of nine glyphs translated by Michael Coe that reads: 'Here it is | His writing | A dedication to a female deity | The scribe's name | On the surface | Of the vase | For the holding of | Cacao [Chocolate]'.
