Lot Description
[CIVIL RIGHTS]. A group of 4 commemorative prints depicting iconic civil rights-era scenes, incl. examples by Bruce DAVIDSON, Danny LYON, and Eve ARNOLD.

6 x 6 in. square photographs (including margins). Photographs printed by Magnum Photos in 2020, originally taken during the 1960s (excellent condition). Each with applied paper label to verso including title, information about the scene provided by the photographer, and the signature of the photographer or photographer's estate. With 2 original envelopes issued by Magnum Photos. 

Includes: 1 print by Danny LYON. Bob Dylan behind the SNCC office. Greenwood, Mississippi. 1963. -- 2 prints by Bruce DAVIDSON. Protest March from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama, USA. 1965; and Birmingham, Alabama, USA. 1963. -- 1 print by Eve ARNOLD. Training activists not to react to provocation. Civil strike, CORE group (Congress of Racial Equality). Petersburg, Virginia. 1960. Signed by the Estate of Eve Arnold.
