[CIVIL RIGHTS]. A large collection of buttons and ephemera involving the Black Panther Party, political protests, and social movements.
14 pinback buttons, approx. 3 in. diameter and smaller, related to Black Panthers, the Peace and Freedom Party, civil rights, and other social issues and movements. -- 5 bumper stickers, 5 3/4 x 4 in. or smaller, featuring symbols and phrases related to the Black Panthers, and one sticker, 7 1/2 x 3 3/4 in., featuring a feminist symbol and phrase 'Sisterhood is Powerful." -- And an approx. 3 1/4 in. lg. wood carved fist with mother-of-pearl inlay, attached to a small chain. -- Together, 21 items representing political movements, mostly the Black Power Movement.
