[EARLY PHOTOGRAPHY]. A group of 24 daguerreotype portraits of children and young adults, including:

A pair of sixth plate portraits of likely sisters, one posed next to a book and with mat stamped for Bartlett. (Image plates with tarnishing to edges, heavy deterioration, clouding, and spotting to unsigned example, significant flaking to signed example; original seals.) Housed under mat, glass, and preserver only, no case. -- Sixth plate standing portrait of a young boy wearing a patterned shirt and posing with his arm resting on a table next to him. (Spotting and some weeping throughout, oxidation to mat and preserver; unsealed.) Housed in a push-button case (non-functioning closure, surface wear and finish loss throughout). -- And 21 others, including 18 sixth plate examples and 3 ninth plate examples. -- Together, 24 daguerreotype portraits of children and young adults.
