[EARLY PHOTOGRAPHY]. Full plate tintype of a possibly mixed-race gentleman in period frame.
6 1/2 x 8 3/8 in. (very minor wear); matted and framed (chipping to frame, soiling). Subject identified by pencil inscription to frame and mat versos.
A well-dressed gentleman, possibly mixed-race, is captured seated. Housed in a period 19th century oval frame and paper mat.
