Falk's imprint on mount recto. -- Oval bust portrait of Samuel Clemens, or Mark Twain (1835-1910). New York: Rockwood, ca 1880. Mount recto and verso with Rockwood imprints. -- Standing portrait of Charles Dickens (1812-1870). New York: Gurney & Son, ca late 1860s. Mount recto and verso with Gurney & Son imprints. Vignetted bust portrait after an earlier portrait of Cornelius Vanderbilt (1794-1877). New York: Fredricks, 1888. Mount recto and verso with Fredricks imprints. -- Group portrait of Caroline Scott Harrison (President Benjamin Harrison's wife) and her family. Washington, DC: Charles Parker, 1889. Captioned on mount recto, with Parker's imprint on recto and verso. -- Vignetted bust portrait of 83rd mayor of New York from 1879-1880, Edward Cooper. New York: Sarony, n.d. Mount recto with Sarony's imprint. -- Half portrait of Margaret Haughery (1813-1882). New Orleans: W.W. Washburn, n.d. Washburn's imprints on mount recto and verso. Verso also bears various inscriptions identifying and describing subject. -- And 50 others. -- Together, 57 cabinet sized portraits, each 3 3/4 x 5 1/4 in. or large, on cardstock mounts. Some subjects unidentified.
