Album containing 27 photographs of Algeria. Oblong quarto album (9 x 13 in.) 230 x 330 mm. 27 albumen photographs, majority approx. 4 3/4 x 8 3/4 in., mounted recto on 8 1/2 x 12 1/4 in. album pages (toning to prints, occasional toning and soiling to mounts). Original textured green cloth boards (partial spine separation, scuffing to boards and extremities).
Each photograph includes Davanne's blindstamp in lower margin of album page, as well as a penciled caption in French.

Album contains several personal photographs of mostly unidentified individuals, but is predominantly comprised of scenic views from locations such as Scotland, Wales, Italy, and Africa.
