Red William Henry Harrison campaign fabric featuring portrait and log cabin. Approx. 17 5/8 x 13 1/2 in. cotton chintz fabric (uneven edges). [With:] Brown Harrison campaign fabric. Approx. 15 7/8 x 17 1/4 in. cotton chintz (creasing, some fraying at edges).
Two pieces of fabric related to the 1840 presidential campaign of William Henry Harrison featuring a log cabin, barrels of hard cider, bust portraits of Harrison with the phrase "Harrison and Reform" surrounded by floral motifs. RARE: Variations of the fabric are listed in Threads of History (#145-147), however, no known examples are red.
