Washington, D.C., 17 February 1879. 1 page, 8vo, on House of Representatives letterhead, pinhole, toning, residue to verso, docketed to verso. McKinley acknowledges that he has recommended Mr. Sutharin for an appointment. -- Autograph letter signed ("Wm McKinley"). Canton, OH, 27 August 1881. 1 page, 8vo, on Office of W. & A. McKinley, Attorneys at Law letterhead, losses, toning, tear at upper edge. McKinley writes regarding the Post Master at East Palestine, Ohio. -- Typed letter signed ("Wm McKinley"), to US Representative from Ohio, Robert P. Kennedy (1840-1918). Canton, OH, 2 April 1896. 1 page, 8vo, on William McKinley letterhead, toned.
