[POLITICS]. 54 postcards & photographs of politicians incl. ROOSEVELT, TAFT & BRYAN.

The lot is comprised of a combination of real photo postcards, printed postcards/images, and photographs, most approx. 4 x 5 1/2 in. or smaller. The following subjects are represented in the collection:  Theodore Roosevelt (7 RPPCs, 4 printed postcards/images). -- William H. Taft (5 RPPCs, 3 printed postcards/images). -- William McKinley (2 RPPCs, 3 printed postcards/images). -- W.J. Bryan (2 RPPCs, 3 printed postcards/images). -- Calvin Coolidge (1 RPPC). -- James Garfield (1 RPPC, 1 printed image). -- Chester A. Arthur (1 RPPC). -- Mrs. Benjamin Harrison (1 RPPC). -- Abraham Lincoln (9 printed images/postcards). -- George Washington and other political figures are also represented in the collection. 

Highlights include: Postcard promoting Taft and Sherman featuring slogan "Here's a Tip," with small tip attached to card. -- President Taft speaking from a train. -- Woodrow Wilson and William H. Taft together. -- Memorial cabinet card of James Garfield. -- RPPCs of Roosevelt and his family credited to Pach Bros., NY. -- RPPC of W.J. Bryan on Wall Street. -- Photograph of President McKinley at L.A. La Fiesta, 1901. -- Photograph of Grant's Tomb. 

Together, 54 real photo postcards, printed images/postcards, and photographs. Condition generally good to very good. Some with edge wear, toning, and album residue to verso. Some of the postcards include handwritten notes.
