[WILD WEST SHOWS]. 
8 items, incl. tobacco cards of Buffalo Bill CODY, Annie OAKLEY, & Doc CARVER.

The lot includes the following:

4 printed Allen and Ginter tobacco cards, each 1 1/2 x 2 3/4 in., of Wild West performers Buffalo Bill Cody, William "Doc" Carver, A.H. Bogardus, and Annie Oakley, with printed information on verso identifying the subjects (light toning, some edge and corner wear to cards). Accompanied by the original 6 x 8 in. page illustrating the four "Rifle Shooter" cards from the Allen and Ginter "World's Champions" album, which was produced in 1888 and contained the cards of fifty popular athletes and performers of the era.

[With:] Life of Buffalo Bill. 1 1/2 x 2 3/4 in. printed Duke Cigarettes Company card/booklet featuring Buffalo Bill. Park Place, NY: Knapp & Co., ca 1880s. The booklet contains 15 pp., including information about Cody (toning and some creasing to covers, which are partially separated near hinge). 

[Also with:] 2 printed cigarette cards, 1 1/2 x 2 3/4 in., featuring Annie Oakley and Lillian Smith as part of W.S. Kimball & Company's "Champions of Games and Sports" card series, ca 1880s (each with some toning, light spotting, and wear to edges).
