Christian Dior Haute Couture Sable and Cashmere Coat and Skirt, Autumn/Winter 1988-89
This ensemble was shown in Marc Bohan’s penultimate collection for Dior, which featured dramatic volume, rich embroideries, and sumptuous furs. Bohan was awarded the prestigious Golden Thimble award for best haute couture collection this season.
This lot contains one haute couture jacket and skirt.
Cashmere coat with sable sleeves and oversized collar edged with padded sable, two pockets, and straight skirt with center back zipper.
