Lot Description
Louis Vuitton Wadrobe Steamer Trunk, Early 20th Century
Louis Vuitton wardrobe steamer trunk in LV monogram stamped canvas, bound in wood slats with metal frame/sides, hardware, and handles, and brown leather handles at the top and bottom. The leather trim is marked with LV. The interior is lined in orange coated canvas with four removable drawers on the right side with leather straps marked "L.Vuitton". The left side is for hanging material and features three hangers. The exterior is marked with the initials "E.P.L.".

Condition Report
Condition:
The overall condition is fair with wear throughout The leather strap has detached, but is retained with the trunk, there are droplets of paint on one side, water marks on the brown leather trim, and scuffs throughout. The interior is in good condition with light wear. The areas near the hinge where the two panels rub together shows signs of repeated use.
