Louis Vuitton Wardrobe Steamer, Early 20th Century

Louis Vuitton wardrobe steamer trunk in LV monogram stamped canvas, bound in wood slats with metal frame/sides, hardware, and handles, and brown leather handles at the top and bottom. The leather trim is marked with LV. The interior is lined in orange coated canvas with four removable drawers on the right side with leather straps marked "L.Vuitton". The left side is for hanging material and features five hangers. The exterior is marked with the initials "E.P.L." and "Detroit" and several travel stickers.

Condition Report

Condition:

The overall condition is fair with wear throughout and splits in the exterior canvas. There are dents in the metal corner covers, water marks on the brown leather trim, and scuffs throughout. The interior is in good condition with light wear. The areas near the hinge where the two panels rub together shows signs of repeated use.
